Rob Reaks is a senior commercial leader with more than 20 years of experience helping organisations improve sales, marketing and customer performance. His expertise spans commercial strategy, brand, omnichannel marketing, customer experience and retention, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and delivering growth.


Before joining Cambridge MC, Rob played a central role in scaling Lightning Fibre, a venture-capital-backed B2B and B2C AltNet. He joined at the initial funding stage as Head of Sales & Marketing and was later promoted to Chief Commercial Officer, leading Sales, Marketing, CX, Partnerships and Strategy as the business grew market share while protecting revenue and profitability.


At Cambridge MC, Rob focuses on commercial strategy for business growth and transformation – spanning sales, marketing, customer experience and retention – as well as Start Up Scale Up and leading the firm’s #21toWatch regional showcases. He brings a practical, brand-led approach shaped by experience scaling ventures, building commercial functions and helping organisations strengthen visibility, customer engagement and long-term growth.
