For the past 12 years Simon has specialised in delivering consultancy and advisory services to the Private Equity sector, where he has developed his award-winning procurement model and service.
He has held leadership positions in high profile companies for a number of industry sectors including, banking with Citigroup, consultancy with PWC, leisure with Rank Organisation, and telecoms with Telewest and Talk Talk.
A Fellow and Chartered member of both the Chartered Management Institute and The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, he has also been a member of the CIPS council and the CIPS Fellows Committee.

We were commissioned by a telecoms company to review and execute a procurement strategy to make short- to long-term cost reduction gains across standard categories.
BEFORE: Telecoms spend (Voice & Data) in year £190,369
We reviewed spend and made several improvement to the chain, recommending transfer to our network of preferred suppliers where necessary and appropriate. The board accepted our changes and we helped with the migration strategy.
AFTER: Delivered a saving of 42% = £79,378
