John Edwards

Senior Partner - Telecoms & Renewables

John Edwards is a highly experienced executive with over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications, forestry, and renewable energy sectors. He has held several directorial roles at leading cable companies, including NTL Inc. and Cablecom. His career later shifted towards general management and advisory roles, providing him with first-hand experience of many real-world challenges. He served as a Partner at Last Mile Communications, COO at CableTel, and as Managing Director of Jurassic Fibre.  Most recently he's been a co-Founder & NED of a European battery storage business, GRP Energy.


In recent years, John has focused on providing strategic advice to business leaders, leveraging his extensive operational experience and exceptional analytical capabilities. He has a particular interest in sustainability. John holds a Law degree from Cambridge University, an MBA from London Business School, and recently completed the Sustainability Leadership programme at Imperial College Business School.


In his spare time, he enjoys walking amongst the mountains and lakes, and is a keen sports fan.
