Simon Crimp is a senior IT leader with over 25 years’ experience driving technology initiatives in the financial sector. Renowned for building and managing global teams, Simon has delivered high-availability, low-latency systems vital to operations worldwide. He excels in infrastructure delivery, IT transformation, team restructuring, and post-acquisition integrations, consistently delivering large-scale programs on time and within budget.


Simon’s career highlights include leading IT operations at JPMorgan Chase, overseeing global systems engineering at Euronext LIFFE, and transforming IG Group’s infrastructure strategy. At IG, he managed teams of 400+ across AWS, GCP, and various data centres, and played a pivotal role in security and hybrid cloud deployments. As interim CEO and Head of IG Japan, he developed key regional strategies and led local expansion.
