Future of Telecommunications in the Falklands Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise.
Through this PME,
the Falkland Islands Government (“FIG”) seeks information and feedback from potentially interested parties, in preparation for a potential tender (or licensing) process to design and carry out operations and future development of telecommunication and media services on the Falkland Islands.
An Opportunity to Transform the Telecoms Future of the Falkland Islands
Cambridge Management Consulting is acting on behalf of the Falkland Islands Government (“FIG”) as its provider of expert consultancy on the future of Islands-wide telecommunications.
FIG is pleased to be entering the next phase of its Islands-wide telecommunications arrangements beginning in 2028. This stage revolves around a Preliminary Market Engagement (“PME”) exercise. The purpose of this is to gather insight from potential suppliers to help shape our requirements and commercial approach. Your input will be invaluable to ensure that procurement is appropriately structure and commercially attractive.
This market engagement phase is designed to give opportunity to discuss different options and possibilities, ahead of formal procurement processes currently scheduled for 2026. We would be pleased to have you involved.

This event is scheduled for 90 minutes and will cover an introductory presentation for approximately 30 minutes on the opportunity followed by an open Q&A session.
