Julian Rawle

Julian Rawle is a highly respected figure in the telecommunications industry with a focus on strategic growth in emerging markets. His expertise includes market analysis, due diligence, business planning, and project management. Fluent in Russian, Julian has utilised his language skills in various roles, including setting up an office in Moscow for British Petroleum and developing new business in the post-Soviet market for Chevron.

In 1995, Julian transitioned to telecommunications, joining Cable & Wireless as their Moscow representative. He developed a new business strategy, built a business around local network operators, and provided comprehensive support for C&W’s MNC customers. Later, he headed up the submarine fibre-optic practice at US-based Pioneer Consulting.

In 2014, Julian established his own consulting business in the submarine market. He has since built a strong reputation as a consultant, helping start-up submarine cable projects attract investors and secure funding.
